Rebuild offers workforce development programs designed to promote diversity and inclusion in the construction industry. Through its projects, Rebuild will provide people of color and women new pathways to skilled trade union apprenticeships.
Our Challenge
Upon the completion of their apprenticeship training, are they adequately prepared to seamlessly transition into the workforce as competent professionals? Ethos Coaching Services has diligently partnered with these emerging talents to equip them with the essential skills and guidance required for their career journey through our specialized career coaching services.
Our Solution
With certified professional coaches on staff, Ethos empowers individuals to define success for themselves and mapping pathways to accomplish those goals. As part of the workforce components of the Philadelphia Rebuild initiative, apprentices receive 1:1 career coaching to enable success in their roles upon completing the training program.
In Summer 2023, a coach from Ethos provided career coaching to professionals transitioning from their apprenticeships to full-time roles with construction and masonry companies across greater Philadelphia.
During the sessions, the Ethos coach helped professionals to:
• develop action plans for making the most of their new
salaries
•identify additional training or roles of interest within the construction industry
• identify the effects of wage and career growth on their
personal goals.
